An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Farooq Ahmad Paier, son of Abdus Samad Paier, a resident of Kralpora, Kupwara slipped into an irrigation canal at the Gund-Jahangir Sonawari in Hajin while crossing it.
